For Those In Need
A Purpose Built Bed for Shelters and the Homeless
We’re on a mission to use our voice for those around us that need to be heard. To see issues in our community — and to take action. Homelessness is an issue that we see all around us, particularly in our local Los Angeles community. We proudly support the urgent mission and vision of Relief Bed, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Relief Beds are innovative and strategically-built mattresses designed to meet the practical needs of the homeless, impoverished, shelter residents, and victims of natural disaster. It is a tangible way we can help the members of our community in their time of need.
“Tonight there will be 58,000 people experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles. It’s time to stop looking away.”
— Union Rescue Mission
Donate a Bed, Change a Life
Together, we can change lives. With your $25 donation, we’ll cover the rest (a $50 value) to build one Relief Bed. Simply select this option when checking out, and the $25 will be added to your order.
For every Crystal Cove mattress purchased, we will build one complete Relief Bed for charity.
Union Rescue Mission is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in Los Angeles that was established in 1891 and today is one of the largest faith-based rescue missions of its kind in the United States. In 2018, we donated 150 beds to their organization, helping them to increase capacity. Relief Beds are not only a more practical and efficient use of space than their air-mattress predecessors, but also provide crucial time-savings in volunteer set-up hours.
Relief Beds at-a-Glance
Relief Beds are strategically built beds that are innovatively crafted to meet the needs of impoverished people and disaster victims. They feature a tri-fold design that is easily transported and stored; a durable, waterproof, easily-cleaned outer shell and a high-density foam core.
“Relief Bed® was created to help provide strength, better health, and ultimately, HOPE to people living and working in fragile areas around the world.”
