Help Us Support Hurricane Relief Efforts

At Brentwood Home, our mission is to provide the foundation for a comfortable home. For many of those affected by the devastation in Texas and Florida, that can start with a place to sleep. We have teamed up with the Salvation Army and Houston Children’s Charity to provide up to 1,000 mattresses for hurricane relief efforts. For every Cedar, Oceano, or Ojai mattress sold now through the end of October, we will donate one to a home in need, up to 1,000 mattresses.

During times like this, it’s important that people come together to help each other - we are inspired by the many organizations around the country that have provided support in so many different ways. As a company that makes mattresses, it felt right to partner with two amazing non-profits working diligently to provide beds to those affected by the recent hurricanes.

The Salvation Army will distribute 500 of our mattresses to families and individuals in Florida. Additional mattresses will go to families and children in Houston through Houston Children’s Charity, which has a goal of providing 5,000 beds to families that have been displaced due to hurricane Harvey

“Many of the people that were flooded out will need up to two-three new beds per household when they get back into housing and with this donation, The Salvation Army will have the resources in Florida to make a difference.” said Lt. Colonel Kyle Smith, Divisional Commander of The Salvation Army in Southern California.

“These mattresses will help our team provide beds and linens for families in the Houston area as they return home,” said Houston Children’s Charity CEO, Laura Ward.

  • Houston Children’s Charity – has partnered with Houston Astros player Carlos Correa through their on-going “A Better Night’s Sleep” program with a goal of raising $500,000 to purchase 5,000 beds.
